What this application is

The AMECO Builders CRM is an internal operations application used by AMECO Builders Inc, a California corporation (CSLB #1147847), and its authorized staff and partners to manage solar and battery installation projects. It is not offered to the general public.

Information we process

• Customer project data — homeowner name, property address, contact details, contract and payment milestones, permits and utility interconnection records for projects AMECO Builders performs.
• Partner data — dealer, installer and referral-partner business details, agreements and insurance documents.
• Accounting data — when the QuickBooks Online connection is active, the application creates and reads customers, service items, classes and invoices in AMECO Builders' own QuickBooks company, and reads invoice balances to mark project payments received.

QuickBooks Online connection

The connection uses Intuit's OAuth 2.0 authorization. The access and refresh tokens Intuit issues are stored encrypted at rest in the application's database and are used only to perform the accounting operations above on behalf of AMECO Builders. Disconnecting from Settings, or from within QuickBooks, revokes the tokens. We do not use QuickBooks data for advertising, profiling or any purpose other than AMECO Builders' own bookkeeping.

Text messages (SMS)

When a customer gives us a mobile number in their signed contract or project intake form and agrees to receive texts, we collect that phone number, the consent record (date and source) and the content of the messages exchanged. We use it only to send project messages: appointment reminders, permit and utility status, payment reminders for the signed contract, and customer support. We do not send marketing texts.

SMS consent and phone numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Message data is handled only by our messaging provider (RingCentral) to deliver the texts. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Sharing

Data is shared only with the service providers that operate the application (hosting, database, email delivery, e-signature, accounting, messaging) and with the utilities, permitting authorities, financing partners and installers involved in a customer's project, as needed to deliver that project. We do not sell personal information. Text-message consent is never shared, as stated above.

Security and retention

Access is restricted to authenticated, authorized users. Data is retained for the life of the customer relationship and as required by California contractor, tax and warranty obligations, then deleted or anonymized.
